Yanamala Feeling Insecure With Lokesh?

Andhra Pradesh Minister for Finance and Legislative Affairs Yanamala Ramakrishnudu is one of the senior-most leader of the Telugu Desam Party.

He is often considered no. 2 in the Cabinet, as he handles several sensitive issues that create troubles for Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. In fact, the ruling TDP feels secure if Yanamala is present in the House, even if Naidu abstains from the Assembly.

Despite being such a senior leader, Yanamala seems to be feeling insecure with the reports that Naidu is planning to induct his son Lokesh Naidu into the Cabinet soon.

Apparently, Yanamala is feeling his importance would go down in the Cabinet, as Lokesh would definitely start calling shots and all the ministers would toe his line.

It was evident from the way Yanamala replied to queries from media on the proposed entry of Lokesh into the Cabinet. When a media person asked him what his position would be if Lokesh becomes a minister, the Finance Minister got irritated.

“It is irrelevant question. How can I predict what will happen if Lokesh becomes a minister? For that matter anybody can become a minister or a Chief Minister. It can be Lokesh or Boddu Venkataramana (the reporter who asked this question),” he said.

He requested the media persons to ask such questions that would be useful to the society, but not those which would trouble politicians.
