The YSRCP decided to raise the issue of the 'Rajahmundry Pushkaram tragedy' through its MP’s in Parliament. Similarly, the TRS Party had also decided to raise the Revanth Reddy cash-for-vote scandal’ in Parliament.
But at an all Party meeting presided over by Venkayya Naidu, he advised the States not to bring up regional issues or issues related to States in the upcoming Parliament session.
Either he said this to protect the TDP government or else he felt that regional issues would hamper the debate on the controversial ‘Land acquisition Bill’ which is the top priority of the government.
So, will TRS and YSRCP heed Venkayya’s advice or will they still bring these issues up in Parliament? Will they be given the opportunity?
