Will Modi Attend AP Capital Ground-Breaking Ceremony?

There have been a lot of rumours regarding Prime Minister Narendra Modi's trip to Andhra Pradesh. The entire ceremony is a huge event and a rather prestigious one for Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu.

The ceremony will be held on Dassera day in keeping with popular Hindu sentiments and Babu has been inviting political and social friends for the occasion.

In fact, his frequent trips to Delhi have raised quite a few eyebrows. Also, the Green Tribunal has said that the AP government hasn't got clearances with regards to environmental guidelines, which has turned into a problem for the state government.

So now the big question is regarding Modi's presence on the occasion. However, Babu's visit has indicated that he is trying to remind the Prime Minister of the ceremony.

Now according to a leading daily, that has raised questions as once the Prime Minister's visit is finalised, then there won't be any need for reminding his office.

On the other hand, unless something really drastic happens, chances are bleak that the PMO would cancel PM's trip.

However, since Chandra Babu has also invited the state heads of Japan and Singapore, it is said that there are diverse opinions about Prime Minister's visit within BJP. This has also resulted in suspense say political analysts.

Meanwhile, some feel that since Venkaiah Naidu has close ties with Babu, he would play his part in convincing the Prime Minister and that might result in his coming to the ceremony they say.

But it appears as if Modi has indeed kept Babu on tenterhooks.
