Why Did You Agree For Bifurcation: Jagan

Speaking during the Assembly Session today, Jagan questioned Chandra Babu Naidu as to why he had supported bifurcation when equal justice was not meted out to Andhra Pradesh.

Jagan was responding to Chandra Babu’s earlier comments and pointed out that while Babu harped on equal justice for both states, in reality, it was not the case.

He said it was time Chandra Babu realized what he had said in the past and what he was saying now.

Jagan went on to question how Babu would take up development of Andhra Pradesh when there is a revenue gap of Rs 15,000 crore.

He said since TDP was part of the BJP government in Centre, it was time for the Andhra Pradesh government to get things moving in New Delhi.

Jagan suggested that Babu should have one minister sitting in Centre to make sure that the Centre does not lose track of the progress in the state.

Meanwhile, Modugula Venugopal Reddy reminded that when they were attacked in Parliament while fighting for a united Andhra Pradesh, Jagan had never bothered to intervene.
