Why Did Naidu Pull Up Lokesh?

Why Did Naidu Pull Up Lokesh?

The latest news doing rounds in the Telugu Desam Party circles is that party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu has pulled up his son Lokesh Naidu in  strong terms.

Reason for Naidu getting angry with his son, as stated by the party leaders, is that Lokesh was spending most of the time in Hyderabad and was not available for the party leaders in Vijayawada or Guntur.

Apparently, Lokesh is coming only once in a week to Vijayawada and is not accessible to the party cadre, despite being the party general secretary.

Naidu, who is quite busy with his government activities, is not able to focus much on party affairs and hence, asked Lokesh to handle them. But with Lokesh also being not accessible, the party leaders are grumbling and the other day, they brought it the notice of Naidu.

That is the reason for Naidu reprimanding Lokesh and asking him to be available in Guntur for five days a week.

However, the actual reason for Naidu pulling up Lokesh is said to be different. Sources said Naidu was upset with the declaration of assets registered in the name of his grandson Devansh, since it became a big news in the media.

Instead of giving a positive coverage of the declaration of assets, the media highlighted the assets of Devansh and it embarrassed Naidu. That is why he reprimanded Lokesh, say sources.
