Telangana minister for IT, Panchayat Raj and Municipal Administration K T Rama Rao surprised everybody by changing his hair style on Tuesday when he arrived at Begumpet to launch the heli-tourism scheme of the Telangana Tourism.
Hitherto, KTR used to comb his hair from front to back as he has a curly hair lock. But now, he has started combing his hair sideways – from left to right. Many people have commented that he now looks like his father Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, who also has curly hair but combs sideways.
But the surprising question is why KTR had suddenly changed his hair style. Is it just to imitate his father as he is considered the heir apparent of KCR? Or is there any other reason?
Sources said KTR had to change his hair style all of a sudden as he is fast losing his hair.
After coming to power, he has been holding tremendous responsibility and there is hardly any rest. The work pressure is telling on his face which now looks swollen.
After the hectic campaign in the recent GHMC elections, he has apparently noticed that his forehead has become wider with loss of lots of hair.
It is more glaring since he combs his hair backwards. So, in order to retain his glamour, he has started combing his hair sideways, at least to partially cover up his wider forehead.
“This is his personal decision and nobody has advised him to do so. For that matter, KCR and his nephew T Harish Rao had lost a lot of hair in the last few years, but they never try to cover it up. KTR is still 39 and he cannot afford to lose his glamour,” sources said.
