Who Will Replace Kadiam In Lok Sabha?

Now that Kadiam Srihari has been inducted into the Telangana Cabinet, he would have to quit the Warangal Lok Sabha seat and get elected to the State Assembly from one constituency or the other.

Now the question is from which constituency Srihari will contest the Assembly; and who will replace him as Warangal MP. If KCR has to get elected to the Assembly, some MLA has to vacate his seat for him.

Speculations are rife that Rajaiah might be asked to quit the MLA post as well, so that Srihari can contest from Station Ghanpur constituency in Warangal district, which he had represented in the past. In fact, it was Rajaiah who had defeated Srihari earlier, when the latter was in the Telugu Desam Party.

Another option left for Srihari is that he should be nominated or get elected to the State Legislative Council, if KCR does not want to strip Rajaiah of even his MLA post. This will be known very shortly.

Now the question is who will contest the by-elections to Warangal MP seat. There is also a talk that KCR might ask Konda Surekha to contest the MP elections and field Srihari in her place from Bhupalpalli. In any case, it is going to be an interesting scenario in the coming days.
