Speaking in the AP Assembly, a couple of TDP legislators once again said that it was the Congress party that was responsible for bifurcation.
They said that Chandrababu Naidu was working tirelessly towards rejuvenating the new State whereas the YSRCP was derailing all progress. This has become a stock response from the TDP whenever they are questioned on any issue.
Is Congress responsible for bifurcation? Or the TDP, BJP, YSRCP or anybody else? It is high time that political parties of Andhra Pradesh stopped trading charges over the bifurcation.
While all parties are collectively to blame for fighting among themselves and allowing bifurcation to happen, the principal culprit is one and only one person: KCR.
It was KCR who because of his chief ministerial ambitions created such a huge ruckus and took the matter to Delhi.
Sonia Gandhi divided the State for her own ambitions but then she only tried to benefit from the rift created by KCR in united Andhra Pradesh.
When two people fight, a third person benefits and Sonia Gandhi tried to reap benefits here although the plan backfired on her. But had it not been for KCR, there would have been no issue in the first place.
Therefore, it is KCR an only KCR who is ultimately responsible for the present plight of the Andhras. At least now, the political parties of AP should stop sucking up to national parties and instead concentrate on ushering development in the State.
Now that the Andhras need no longer carry the baggage of an inferior civilization in the name of brotherhood, they should join hands together and once again prove their mettle.
