News from Allagadda is that Jagan Mohan Reddy is keen on fielding Bhooma Akhila as the YSRCP candidate in the Allagadda by-election.
It is being said that once the notification comes, the candidate will be officially announced. Already, Bhooma Akhila has been quite active in the district since her mother’s death and many say it is not surprising to see her name.
Due to the untimely death of Bhooma Shobha Nagireddy, she was declared the winner in Allagadda posthumously. But this resulted in the by-election and the Bhooma family has been quite active to make sure they win the seat once again.
Incidentally, Bhooma Nagireddy is the MLA of Nandyala and hence it was said that another YSRCP candidate would be announced soon.
At one time, it was rumoured that YSRCP will be fielding SV Subbareddy. But now Akhila Priya is the most likely candidate to contest here.
On her part, she has also become quite active in the district politics and during the recent Bias river tragedy she acted quickly regarding the rescue operations of a boy from Allagadda.
Many say she has been learning the tricks of the trade pretty quickly.
On the other hand, the TDP is getting ready to contest from Allagadda. It is said that they want the Gangula family to contest on the party ticket here.
Though YSRCP did not field a candidate in Nadigama, TDP will be fielding its candidate in Allagadda it is being said.
