What's use in Kiran's resignation now?

PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana on Monday said that there was no use if Chief Minister N Kiran Reddy resigned from his Chief Minister post now when the bifurcation process had reached its final stage.

Botsa told media that Kiran should have quit six months ago. “Though Kiran resigns now he will not get Samaikyandhra credit, There will not be any impact the Centre even if Kiran resigns now,” he said and alleged that Kiran was only running away from the responsibility of leading the campaign of general elections on behalf of the party by stepping down.

The PCC chief asserted that he didn’t think Kiran would quit the Congress. “When the Parliament passes the Telangana bill in a day or two, his resignation only tantamounts to avoiding the responsibility on behalf of the party for the forthcoming general elections. Now that the Centre is introducing the bill in Parliament and President has given his nod, what is the use of stepping down?” he retorted.
