Nobody can repair the damaged the Congress party. And if at all there is anybody who can damage the prospects of the party in the elections, it is none other than the Congress leader himself.
That has once again been proved in case of Telangana Congress party. At the party functionaries meeting held at Shamshabad, the party leaders were focussing more on attacking one another rather than attacking the ruling TRS Party.
While AICC in-charge of Telangana affairs R C Khuntia was giving a call to the party workers to launch a vigorous campaign among the people with a slogan: “KCR hatao, Congress Sarkar ko lao” (Remove KCR and bring back Congress government), another group of Congress workers owing allegiance to Komatireddy brothers raised slogans: “Uttam ko hatao, Congress ko bachao” (Sack Uttam and save Congress).
The Komatireddy brothers -- Congress MLA from Nalgonda Venkat Reddy and MLC Rajgopal Reddy were not invited on to the dais and were forced to sit among the party workers for two hours. They felt humiliated and started raising slogans against PCC president Capt Uttam Kumar Reddy before going out from the training camp hall.
Similarly, senior Congress leader and former MP from Secunderabad Anjan Kumar Yadav also walked out of the party training camp in a huff and vent his anger as the Congress leaders at the dais ignored him.
But Kuntia chose to ignore them and went on explaining the strategy to win the next elections.
