Venkaiah Naidu is one of the key national leaders in Bharatiya Janata Party. He has distanced himself from the controversies and Venkaiah Naidu is considered as one of the 'Clean' politicians in India.
Mr. Naidu got elected to Rajya Sabha for the third time in 2010. Currently, he is serving as a minister in Narendra Modi's government and Venkaiah Naidu's tenure will come to an end in 2016.
According to Narendra Modi's new rules, no leader will get elected to Rajya Sabha more than 3 times, which means Venkaiah Naidu will leave his Central Minister post in July 2016.
Some BJP leaders are saying that Mr. Naidu might get elected as Vice-President and the others are in a thought that Chandra Babu Naidu might send him to Rajya Sabha in Telugu Desam quota.
However, Political analysts are feeling that Narendra Modi might keep Venkaiah Naidu away from the party just like he did it with LK Advani and other BJP senior leaders.
