Ex union minister and BJP MP Purandareswari has been appointed the convener of two prestigious programmes to be taken up by the BJP in the coming days.
While she was sidelined immediately after BJP winning the election, her position within the party seems to be rising as she has been appointed incharge of Jan Sampark and Maha Sampark programmes.
Once BJP completes the membership drive, she will get on to her new role say party insiders in Andhra Pradesh.
At the party convention held in Vizag, AP BJP leaders expressed unanimous opinion that despite the Centre releasing funds to the newly carved state, nothing much was being done to publicise the same. So, Purandareswari has been chosen to spread the word among people about the aid provided by Centre and various schemes and developmental activities being initiated by the BJP government across the country and in Andhra Pradesh.
Well, it is known that AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu and Purandareswari barely see eye to eye and her new role within BJP has raised many eyebrows within political circles.
