Villagers In Capital Zone Tensed Over Road

Villagers In Capital Zone Tensed Over Road

Andhra Pradesh government has decided to lay a 16.5 km, 4 lane road from the Secretariat. And if this happens, it is bound to raze down a few villages and that has resulted in the villagers getting agitated.

It is said that Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu too insisted on laying a straight road without any twists and turns.

So now the big question is where will the road go and how many houses will be gone and what compensation needs to be paid for the same.

Meanwhile, villagers in Undavalli and Penumaka have a new concern as they fear that their villages might be wiped out if the 200 feet road is laid, thanks to the government's plan of developing a world-class city.

Talk is that there will be some clarity over the road in about two months time.
