Reporting gossip on page one of a newspaper in the name of journalism and then expecting people to believe in the credibility of the newspaper is a bit over optimistic.
An article carried in yesterday’s edition of a yellow newspaper says that current Lok Sabha speaker, Sumitra Mahajan and Union Minister Venkayya Naidu might become the President and Vice-President of the country in 2017.
This clearly appears to be an attempt to push for the candidacy of Venkayya Naidu more than anything else.
Even recently, this newspaper said that it had concrete information that governor Narasimhan was soon going to be replaced. Nothing of that sort happened.
Basing on the accuracy of that prediction, one can safely assume that Venkayya Naidu is definitely not going to become Vice-President of India.
