The investigation into the sensational Miyapaur land scam case is exposing the alleged role of several Telangana Rashtra Samithi leaders, creating an embarrassing situation to the ruling party and chief minister K Chandrasekar Rao.
A latest exposure by a local daily revealed a nexus between Trinity Infrastructure Limited, which was found to have usurped government lands in a big way, and managing director of Namasthe Telangana daily D Damodar Rao, a close associate of KCR.
Documents revealed that a luxury Mercedes Benz car purchased by Trinity Infra was in the possession of Damodar Rao and the registration papers also had his telephone number.
The owner of Trinity Infra is now arrested and in police custody; but his links with KCR’s close aid was clearly exposed.
And on Saturday, there were reports that senior TRS leader and Rajya Sabha member K Kesava Rao also bought nearly 45 acres of government land from scamsters in the name of his daughter.
Though KK denies that it was a government land, the records show otherwise and the sub-registrar who registered the land in the name of KK’s daughter is also now arrested.
It is learnt several other TRS leaders including family members of KCR were involved in this land scam.
However, the ruling party has been allegedly managing the media to see that the scam is not exposed fully, a media person lamented.
