In an interesting turn of events, Chandra Babu and his government has appointed a consultancy to give him strategic advice and provide customized services during his foreign tours.
We are not sure if he had sought the services of such consultancies in the past, but this time around, the appointment has generated much interest among political circles.
Babu’s team has approached Pricewaterhouse Coopers for providing exclusive services to Babu during his foreign trips.
It is being said that Rs 47.50 lakhs has been given to the consultancy firm. A GO has also been passed by basic amenities and investments departments to this effect. Soon, Chandra Babu will be touring China, Japan and South Korea.
Wonder what services they will provide, the trend is surely new. Usually, IAS officers brief the CM and hold meetings with various delegations prior to the CM’s visit. So, will they have nothing to do now?
