Leader of Opposition in Telangana Legislative Council Mohammed Ali Shabbir on Friday alleged that the 'Trimurthy of Liars,' comprising Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Ministers N Chandrababu Naidu and his Telangana counterpart K Chandrashekar Rao, had cheated the Telugu speaking people of both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana States.
He told media that the Amravati foundation stone laying function was a unique occasion for the three musketeers of the country to share the common agenda.
"All three of them - Modi, Naidu and KCR did not fulfill any of the poll promises they made with the people. The three liars cheated all Telugus on the pious occasion of Vijayadashami," he said adding that Naidu did not even mention in his speech about Special Status for AP.
Despite spending Rs 400 crore, the Amravati's fete turned out to be a flop show as Modi had utterly disappointed the people of AP who expected some major announcements and sops on the occasion.
He said except for mentioning that he brought earth from Parliament and water from Yamuna River, Modi did not announce any package or gave any specific assurance on fulfillment of promises made in AP Reorganisation Act, 2014.
