Telugu Desam Party legislator from L B Nagar and prominent BC leader R Krishnaiah has his own style. Though he belongs to the TDP, he cares a damn for party president and AP chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu; and what bothers to him is the welfare of BCs.
On Wednesday, Krishnaiah came down heavily on Naidu for failing to fulfil his election promise of providing employment to lakhs of unemployed.
“He came to power in AP with the slogan: Job raavalante, Babu raavali” (Vote Naidu to power, if you want a job). It has been two years since Naidu came to power; where are the jobs? Why is he not filling up 1.45 lakh jobs that have been vacant for several years?” Krishnaiah asked.
This is definitely an embarrassment to Naidu. All these days, he has been facing similar allegations from YSR Congress party leaders. Now, the criticism has come from his own party MLA.
It remains to be seen whether Naidu will initiate any action against Krishnaiah, who has in fact been keeping away from party for several days.
Already, only three MLAs are left in the Telangana TDP. If Krishnaiah goes, only Revanth and Sandra Venkata Veeraiah will remain. Is it okay for Naidu?
