TDP Minister On 'conversion' Spree!

TDP Minister On 'conversion' Spree!

Strange are the ways of some ministers in the Chandrababu Naidu cabinet. They get into news not for their performance, but for their strange attitudes.

Only a last couple of days, we have heard about excise minister K S Jawahar, who declared beer as health drink and announced that the government would promote it in a big way.

Now, here is the case of yet another minister in the Naidu cabinet, who does not distinguish between the Telugu Desam Party workers and common people or even the opposition party workers.

He is minister for tourism and youth affairs Kollu Ravindra. What he is doing is that whoever comes to him for any work in the constituency, he is offering them yellow (TDP) khanduwas and declaring them as TDP workers.

Last week, the minister went to Sitarampuram near Machilipatnam, where the villagers came to him to represent their problems.

He immediately took out a few yellow khaduwas from his car and draped them around their shoulders, declaring them as TDP workers.

A YSR Congress party worker, who went to Ravindra to seek financial assistance to treat his sick wife, was shocked when the minister declared him as the TDP worker by offering them yellow khanduwas.

And while Ravindra was returning from the village, he saw some people on a tractor which got stranded on the narrow road.

He immediately got down from his car and offered them yellow khanduwas to all of them before leaving the place with a smile. The people on the tractor were shocked, as they were all YSR Congress party workers!
