TDP Cries Foul Over Jagan's Release

Telugu Desam Party is not able to digest the release of YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy from jail and the way he got such a tumultuous welcome from the people on his release.

TDP senior leader and former minister Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy questioned the treatment given to Jagan when he was taken in a massive procession to his residence at Jubilee Hills after his release from the jail.

“He is an economic offender. How can the Kirankumar Reddy government treat him with all protocol as if he is a chief minister or Governor and make arrangements for his rally?” he asked.

He sought to know as to who had directed the CBI to file a memo on the day of judgment on Jagan’s bail plea in the CBI court.

“The witnesses will get afraid after seeing the way the government has provided security to the procession and the convoy of Jaganmohan Reddy when he was released from the jail,” he said.

Somireddy alleged that YSRC honorary president Y S Vijayamma had telephoned to Sonia Gandhi on August 23 and expressed her gratitude to Sonia Gandhi who assured Vijayamma saying that she need not worry.
