News is that well-known actress and Nagari MLA Roja has been house-arrested by TDP councilors.
YSRCP had won the Nagari municipality seat and this resulted in clashes between the TDP and YSRCP workers.
MLA Roja was then house-arrested in the ensuing face-off by the TDP councilors. Of late, an increasing number of cases of clashes between the TDP and YSRCP are being reported in Andhra. The numbers increased during the recent ZP polls.
Recently, there were reports that in Prakasam district, the TDP supporters released the waters of Ramateertham reservoir without the knowledge of local MLA A Suresh.
When Suresh went to the site, shutters were drawn to prevent him from entering. There is growing concern among people that such developments are cause for concern.
