TDP Claiming Centre Schemes To Be Their's

After Babu came to power, he announced 24-hour power supply scheme for Andhra Pradesh. He then announced that a pension Rs 1000 would be given to old people.

Well, though Babu wants to take credit for these schemes, the reality is different says BJP leader and former minister D Purandareswari.

The latest comments made by ex union minister are indeed interesting. She said her party workers must go into people and tell them about the various schemes that the central government has taken up as the TDP is trying to usurp their share of success and goodwill by making false claims.

Talking at a meeting of her party workers in Guntur district’s Pedanandipaadu, Purandareswari made the above comment.

She said that Centre was giving Rs 1000 as pension for old people and in keeping with the Swachch Bharat campaign of Prime Minister Modi, it was giving Rs 12,000 to each household for the construction of a toilet. But closer home, Chandra Babu and his government were claiming these schemes were their brainchild, she said.

People must also realize that it is the Centre that proposed 24-hour power supply scheme said Purandareswari.

While her senior and Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu never tires of praising Chandra Babu and his government, Purandareswari making these antagonistic statements against TDP are noteworthy.
