TDP Bags Two More YSRCP MLA's

Operation Akarsh by the TDP in AP seems to have landed another big catch. Balineni Srinivas Reddy of Prakasam district is likely to join the TDP soon along with two of his followers, MLA’s Pothula Rama Rao and Adimulapu Suresh.

It is rumored that the deal between Balineni and the TDP was brokered by ABN Radhakrishna. Balineni has a running feud in the district with YV Subba Reddy, also of the YSRCP.

Ironically, both Balineni and Subba Reddy are close relatives of YS Jagan. The TDP is said to be in talks with ten more MLA’s of the YSRCP. If successful in its attempts, Jagan will be denied the single Rajya Sabha seat which his Party is currently entitled to.

Reportedly, Jagan even got his mother Vijayamma to speak to Balineni and talk him out of the decision, but in vain. Also, Balineni is said to be in financial problems and only the TDP can currently bail him out of them.

For a Party that cries itself hoarse in Telangana about defections to the TRS, it seems to have a different set of morals when it comes to Andhra.
