Still Playing Games?

Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) president N Raghuveera Reddy on Saturday said the Congress will collect the signatures of one crore people requesting the Centre to grant special status to Andhra Pradesh.

The campaign will begin on Feb 6 at Polavaram in West Godavari and the Party intends to complete the entire exercise by the end of Feb.

The APCC chief said that the state and the Centre have been misleading the people on special status issue.

“The Union cabinet had cleared the special status for Uttarakhand in 2002 without seeking prior permission from the Planning commission. Why does it need consensus now?” asked Raghuveera Reddy.

What Raghuveera Reddy said is absolutely correct! But he also needs to be aware of one thing! Had the Congress not divided the State in the first place, there would have been no need for a ‘special status’ in the first place.

Why did Sonia Gandhi ignore the plea of entire Seemandhra to keep the State united?

The Congress today says it will fight for treatment of the wounds inflicted on the Seemandhra people, wounds inflicted in the first place by the Congress itself as it stabbed the Seemandhra people in the back by dividing the State.

All Parties, Congress, BJP, TDP and YSRCP have betrayed the people of Andhra Pradesh. Unfortunately, there is no alternative for the people and they will repeatedly have to elect among these same bunch of crooks.
