Ahead of the Mahanadu towards the end of this month, the ground is slowly being prepared for a greater role for Nara Lokesh in the TDP scheme of things.
Deputy Chief Minister, KE Krishnamurthy has remarked on the need for Lokesh to be given greater responsibilities.
“He has good leadership qualities and his efforts have resulted in the TDP membership drive seeing 55 lakh new enrolments. He is a very hard-working person and is constantly in touch with the cadre and their welfare. His recent Bus Yatra has also been a tremendous success. I think he should play a more active role now,” said Krishnamurthy.
The comments come close on the heels of Vijay, son of Ayanna Patrudu, asking for Lokesh to be made as the working president of the TDP.
Thus, through a series of statements issued, the right mood is being created ahead of the Mahanadu to facilitate a smoother power play for Lokesh in the Party.
