Bharatiya Janata Party leader Dr Subramanyam Swamy on Thursday alleged that AICC President Sonia Gandhi and Vice-President Rahul Gandhi have furnished wrong information their academic qualifications.
Speaking to media persons here, Subramaniam Swamy said that while Sonia mentioned her qualification as graduate, she has studied only up to 5th standard. Similarly, Rahul Gandhi had mentioned his qualification as Masters in Philosophy (M Phil). However, Rahul has failed in M Phil exams, he claimed.
Subramaniam Swamy said that two scams of recent past have become more popular. They are 2G scam of A Raja in Tamil Nadu and land scam of Jamai Raja (Robert Vadra) in Himachal Pradesh. He alleged that Robert Vadra's land scam had broken all previous records of scams. He also alleged that the Nehru-Gandhi family was trying to swindle the Rs 5,000 crore worth properties of National Herald.
He alleged that the former Prime Minister late Rajiv Gandhi began the culture of organised corruption in India and Bofors scam was the first of kind scam during his regime. He appealed to the people to reject Congress party to end corruption in the country.
