Shame: File Regarding Capital Funds Hasn't Reached Centre?

It is known that the Andhra Pradesh government is going that extra mile to make sure that it procures lakhs of acres of land at the earliest. Meanwhile, there are reports doing rounds that the AP government is showing little interest in sending a file with all information to the Central government.

Incidentally, the Centre had already asked the ruling TDP government to submit a file with all details regarding the expected expenditure on developing the new capital city. However, they had recently disclosed that no such accounts have come to them.

On the other hand, the Andhra Pradesh officials claim that they had sent the information requested by Centre and suggest that the files could be stuck at a lower rung.

Now, it is rather surprising that such a crucial file can be held up by lower-level officials. So, finally does the fault lie with Andhra Pradesh government or with the Centre?

Already, the Centre has approved Rs 1000 crores for construction of key structures in capital zone. This apart, the BJP government had also allocated an additional Rs 500 crores for development of infrastructural facilities.

However, there is no clarity as to what happened to these allocations since there was no mention, even a cursory one, during the budget session.
