Seemandhra gets Rs 1, 50,000 crore package

Seemandhra gets Rs 1, 50,000 crore package

The UPA government has allotted a package of Rs 1, 50,000 crore to the Seemandhra region said Union Minister Jairam Ramesh.

He also said that the Congress is committed to the development of the region and that the progress of the region after five years would be unimaginable.

He also clarified that except for Kiran Kumar Reddy, the rest of the Ministers from Andhra Pradesh had agreed to the bifurcation.

He opined that Kiran was setting up a Party only for his personal benefit.

“I am not an agent of any region, in fact I am an agent of welfare for the Telugu people,” said Ramesh.

He also said that people like Lagadapati and Rayapati were in politics only for the sake of their business empires and not for the welfare of the people.
