If the speculations in political circles are to be believed, former Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana Tatikonda Rajaiah is contemplating joining the Congress party sooner or later.
Rajaiah, who was expelled from the K Chandrasekhar Rao Cabinet a few months ago on corruption charges and inefficiency, is terribly upset with the TRS leadership for the past few days for ignoring him in all official and party programmes.
At the same time, he has not been able to digest the fact that KCR has been pampering his arch rival in Warangal district Kadiam Srihari, who had replaced him as Deputy Chief Minister.
Sources said the Congress leadership is planning to field Rajaiah for the Warangal MP seat. Negotiations are currently going on between Congress and Rajaiah. If Rajaiah joins Congress, it would be an interesting contest between TRS and Congress.
