Telugu Desam Party Telangana leaders Errabelli Dayakar Rao and L Ramana on Tuesday urged Governor ESL Narasimhan to sack Commercial Taxes Minister T Srinivas Yadav for defecting to the ruling party against norms.
The duo called on Narasimhan at Raj Bhavan and appealed to him to take immediate steps to remove Talasani from the Cabinet of TRS Government. They reportedly asked the Governor to seek resignation of Srinivas Yadav or suspend him from the Cabinet of K Chandrasekhar Rao.
The TDP leaders brought to the notice of the Governor that the MLA defected to the ruling party which amounts to anti-party activity.
They also submitted a memorandum to the Governor in this regard and argued that Srinivas Yadav submitted his resignation to Speaker Madhusudana Chary before joining the KCR Cabinet. As per Anti-Defection Act, Yadav is liable to be punished, they contended.
