Reddy Officials Being Sidelined In AP

YSRCP Kurnool MLA SV Mohana Reddy has said that the AP government was sidelining the Reddy officials in the state.

He said that the way the police department which is meant to be non-partisan is behaving has given ample reasons for the Reddy community to be disturbed.

Quoting an example, Reddy said the way Bhooma Nagireddy was arrested was a case in the point. Just for saying 'touch me not', the police had filed a case againt Bhooma and a case was filed against him, said Reddy.

However, when Dendulooru MLA misbehaved with Tahasildar Vanajakshi, the same police did not file any case against him, pointed out Reddy adding that AP CM Chandra Babu called on both parties and brought about compromise.

When BJP leader Pusphaleela accused that the socially backward communities were being ignored by the government, Mohan Reddy stepped in and said that Reddys were also being ignored by the ruling party.

Reddy added that it is not just the police force, the Reddys did not have representation even in state cabinet.
