“Congress would have retained power and senior leader K Jana Reddy would have become Chief Minister in case the Centre carved out Rayala-Telangana State”, said former Congress leader and present TDP leader and Anantapur MP JC Diwakar Reddy.
Chatting with his old friend K Jana Reddy at his Chamber in the Assembly on Friday, J C said there was no freedom in the regional parties like national parties and he was not having freedom.
He said the MP position was not suitable for him. Expressing his opinion on TDP position in Andhra Pradesh State, JC said the party was overloaded with the leaders came from other parties.
Describing Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a powerful PM than former PM Indira Gandhi, JC said the BJP has become a forum to the unhappy leaders of various parties.
He said the present Modi is very much different from the earlier Modi. Opining that one has to comment on TRS or TDP Governments only after one year, JC said the farmers will come on to the roads if the banks refuse loans.
Later, JC spoke with Congress senior MLA Dr J Geeta Reddy on the Assembly premises. On the occasion, JC said the people of two Telugu States have come out from the division issue, he said, adding the people would launch United State movement if the conditions continue in the same manner.
He observed that the Congress party almost perished in Andhra Pradesh State.
