Visiting Amaravathi or inviting Naidu to his ‘Chandi Yagam’, KCR is all of a sudden Naidu’s best buddy. What is the reason for this transformation?
The recent election victory in Warangal and the MLC successes for his Party might finally have made KCR feel secure.
Despite winning a majority in the general elections, KCR was always apprehensive of the shadow of Naidu looming over Telangana. But now Naidu has been forced to forsake Hyderabad thanks to the Revanth Reddy episode. And this has helped KCR cement his Party immensely in the rest of Telangana as well.
Finally, KCR might actually feel confident of an absolute control over Telangana and can now afford to smile. This perhaps is the reason behind his new found bonhomie with his ex-boss.
We might find that typical Telangana bitterness in him vanish completely as the GHMC elections draw closer. His friendship with Naidu might actually be a ploy to win Seemandhra votes in the GHMC polls.
