If the rumor doing the rounds is to believed then the 'swine flu' issue and alleged irregularities in the 'Health Department' only came in handy for KCR to sack Rajaiah.
KCR has supposedly been unhappy with Rajaiah for a long time now and the reason is not the latter’s style of functioning but his proximity to Harish Rao, nephew of KCR.
For some time now there has been talk of two camps in the TRS government, one headed by KTR and the other by Harish Rao. Though the TRS has so far been successfully able to contain the bickering from coming out in the open, it is only a matter of time before a power struggle for the CM’s chair ensues after KCR.
Emboldened by his closeness with Harish Rao, Rajaiah made some unilateral decisions including an announcement earlier that a ‘Health University’ would come up at Warangal. A furious KCR immediately reprimanded Rajaiah publicly. That Rajaiah is still in the TRS is probably because of Harish Rao.
But considering the humiliation he has received at the hands of KCR, it is only a question of when, before he switches loyalties to another Party.
