The sensational alleged molestation case against Ravela Susheel, son of Andhra Pradesh Minister Ravela Kishore Babu, in Banjara Hills police station, ended on expected lines.
The Hyderabad High Court on Monday struck down the case against Susheel, acting on the quash petition filed by him, after the victim turned hostile and withdrew case against him.
She told the court that she would not be able to identify the eve-teaser and hence, was not sure whether Susheel had misbehaved with her.
She also deposed that the accused had not pulled her by holding her hand. With no evidence against Susheel, the court struck down the case.
Needless to say, a lot of political negotiations had taken place behind the curtain and the victim was forced to withdraw the case.
In any case, it was pretty evident right from the day one that Susheel being an influential son of a minister, would be able to get away without any punishment. That is politics!
