There seems to be more to it than what meets the eye in the fight between the supporters of Telugu Desam Party legislator Errabelli Dayakar Rao and that of Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari at Palakurthy in Warangal on Sunday.
Errabelli and his followers are said to have staged a big drama in clashing with the TRS activists at Palakurthy market yard function.
Though it was an official function, the TDP workers tried to gatecrash into the venue, knowing fully well that there would be clashes with the TRS workers. They also attacked the police to attract the media attention.
Needless to say, all this was believed to be an attempt by Errabelli to catch the attention of Naidu in preventing firebrand TDP legislator A Revanth Reddy from becoming the Telangana TDP working president.
On Monday, Errabelli was granted bail by the Jangaon court along with his followers. And his followers took out a big procession highlighting his leadership and daring nature in countering the ruling party.
Right from the beginning, Errabelli has not been liking the way Revanth Reddy was behaving as if he was the party boss. If Revanth becomes the working president, Errabelli who is senior to him, does not want to work under him, say sources.
