Congress Legislature Party leader in Telangana Assembly K Jana Reddy has given an interesting call to the party leaders who want to shift their loyalties to other parties: they can quit the party, but inform the party in advance.
“Those who want to leave the Congress can go, but they must inform the party before they take such a step,” Jana Reddy said.
Accusing the TRS of encouraging defections, he said though some of the Congress leaders left the party expecting political future, it would have been appropriate had they informed the party leadership in advance.
“It is totally unethical for the leaders to switch loyalties. The ruling party cannot attract them for political gain,” he said.
Jana Reddy appealed to Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao to focus on manifesto promises.
He also urged the AP Government to extend cooperation to Telangana State with regard to works related to RDS project in Mahabunagar district.
