Power star Pawan Kalyan often claims that he has no money and that he is forced to do films only for the sake of money, so that he can do some public service.
Even at the time of formation of Jana Sena party, Pawan made a cinematic statement that he did not need more than a house and a car. But going by the talk doing rounds in the Tollywood circles, Pawan invested huge amount of money on lands and residential properties.
Besides, his house and farm house in Hyderabad, he is learnt to have bought two properties in prime locations of the city.
Sources say it was for this reason that he had taken huge amount as advance remuneration of over Rs 10 crore for his film from a popular production house. Initially, he returned the advance amount, but later took it back saying he would do the film.
There is no surprise or nothing objectionable in Pawan Kalyan, who has the range of demanding over Rs 15 crore for a film, purchasing or acquiring properties, What is objectionable is to claim that he had no money and that he had no reason to possess so many properties.
One wonders whether Pawan Kalyan, who often speaks in philosophical tone on people acquiring properties, is not aware how many properties his brother Chiranjeevi has in Tamil Nadu and how he maintained a separate office with several employees to look after the rents and other revenue sources from his properties.
Well, everybody has one's own reasons to earn money and spend the same on properties. But one should think twice before commenting on other, while forgetting one's own dealings.
