Pawan Confined To Twitter, Not On Roads!

Power star and Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan, who has been making angry and strong comments in support of special category status for Andhra Pradesh, is strangely confined to social media, instead of taking a plunge into direct action against the Centre and the state governments.

Pawan has extended his support to the silent rally at R K Beach in Visakhapatnam on Thursday evening, remained in the studio in Hyderabad taking part in Katamarayudu shooting. In between the two shots, he is flashing a series of tweets on his mobile on the developments in Visakhapatnam, even as the police were arresting hundreds of people and Jana Sena activists.

In his series of tweets, Pawan took pot shots at Sujana Chowdary who made derogatory remarks against the agitators for special category status on the lines of Jallikattu movement and also at Rayapati, who allegedly usurped farmers’ lands for dumping soil of Polavaram project. In none of the tweets, the Jana Sena chief made any direct attack on chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu.

If Pawan really wants to do something to the people and make it big in politics, he should take a plunge into direct action on the roads, instead of confining himself to commenting in social media.

The situation would have been different in Visakhapatnam, had Pawan taken initiative in organising a rally and he himself taken part in the rally. Had he faced a single lathi blow, it would have exploded the entire state.

If you want to shine in politics, you have to be among the people, not within four walls playing with your mobile, Mr Pawan!
