Paritala murder case to be reopened?

Paritala murder case to be reopened?

If the Telugu Desam Party government headed by N Chandrababu Naidu has its way, the case pertaining to murder of former minister and dreaded Rayalaseema leader Paritala Ravi would be reopened.

Paritala’s wife and Rapthadu MLA Paritala Sunitha, who took over as minister on Sunday evening, asserted that the murder case of her husband would be re-opened and investigated.

She said over 200 TDP workers were murdered after Congress came to power in 2004. Paritala Ravindra was one of them.

Sunita said she has apprehension that former chief minister late Y S Rajasekhara Reddy and YSRCP president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy were behind the murder of her husband Paritala.

“Since our party has returned to power, the case would be re-opened and investigated afresh to ferret out truth behind the murder of her husband”, she added.

May be things will move fast, if Sunitha becomes the Home Minister.
