Visalandhra Mahasabha Convenor Dr Parakala Prabhakar who had taken up large scale promotion activity regarding Samaikyandhra has been recognized for his work and has been given a key post in the newly formed Andhra Pradesh.
He has now been assigned the role of media advisor to the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Chandra Babu Naidu.
It is a known fact that Parakala’s wife Nirmala Sethuraman is the Minister of State (independent charge) for Ministry of Commerce & Industry. While she has got the Rajya Sabha nomination from Andhra Pradesh, now Parakala has got this important position there.
Though Parakala had agitated against bifurcation, the separation has helped him in getting a plum post. However, it has to be recollected that his wife who was the official spokesperson for BJP in united Andhra Pradesh spoke in favour of bifurcation.
