When TDP came into power in 2014 general elections, Parakala Prabhakar was appointed as the communications advisor of the CM, a rank on par with a cabinet minister. His wife was made the Union Commerce Minister. It was a double whammy for Parakala.
However, of late, he is not exactly in the good books of the CM and talk is that he might soon shown the door.
Also, since Nirmala Sitharaman, his wife was given the Cabinet berth following Rajya Sabha membership, it is said that the CM is in no mood to pamper her either with a next term.
And of late, Parakala's Whatsapp picture shows him in a meditating mode. Well, TDP insiders say it is pretty obvious as Chandra Babu is not happy with the way Parakala handled or 'did not handle' his image during the 'note for vote' case.
The case has totally marred the image of Chandra Babu and Parakala had done little during the entire duration. So it is being said that he is no more invited to all meets. Also, Babu now operates from Vijayawada while Parakala is in Hyderabad.
The mudra suits him well, snigger TDP insiders.
