One year of Naidu: Briefcase, suitcase rule!

Describing AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s one-year rule as brief case and suit case rule, APCC president N Raghuveera Reddy on Monday charged Chandrababu Naidu with indulging in corruption to the tune of thousands of crores of rupees.

Addressing the ‘Samvatsara Avineethi Palanapai Samara Deeksha’ meeting here on Monday at Indira Park, Raghuveera alleged that big boss (Chandrababu) and small boss (Lokesh Babu) received thousands of crores of rupees as bribes from sand mafia, cement dealers, power purchases, liquor prices and spent the money in Telangana State MLC elections.

Demanding that the government order inquiry by CBI or a Supreme Court judge to identify real culprit in the ‘vote for note’ issue, he said Revanth Reddy was not A-1, but Chandrababu in the note for vote scam.

The APCC president also demanded that the government inquire into 12 issues during the one year rule of Chandrababu Naidu.

He also said if Chandrababu wanted, he can order a CBI inquiry into the previous 10-year Congress rule. Alleging that Chandrababu Naidu was preparing to spend Rs 200 crore in the GHMC elections, the APCC chief said Chandrababu Naidu was caught in the Revanth Reddy bribery episode directly and remained silent.

He also alleged that Chandrababu Naidu touched feet of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and begged for protection. Both Chandrababu and K Chandrasekhar Rao should request the Centre to order CBI inquiry into Revanth Reddy’s issue to know the facts.

“If not, both CMs would become culprits”, he alleged.
