Four people met a star hotel to discuss the consequences of the Mudragada agitation demanding reservation for Kapus. They were Chiranjeevi, Dasari Narayana Rao, Bothsa Satyanarayana and Ambati Rambabu.
Condemning the arrest of Mudragada, these four Kapu leaders said that the government should initiate talks with Mudragada immediately and include the Kapus in the list of BCs.
What was interesting abut the whole episode was that these four people were referred to as Kapu leaders by the media.
And upping the ante was Dasari Narayana Rao who said, " We have already lost a Kapu leader like Vangaveeti Mohan Ranga Rao. We cannot afford to lose Mudragada now."
First of all, it is really sad that these four people should be referred to as leaders. If these are the best people the Kapu community has to stand up for them, then one can't help feeling sorry for the Kapu community.
And secondly, Dasri referring to Vangavveti Ranga as a leader. If Telugu society continues to look upon Vangaveeti Ranga, Devineni Nehru, Paritala Ravi and Maddelacheruvu Suri as leaders, then we are headed on a massive downward spiral.
