AP Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu has made an interesting statement while he was touring Nellore district.
He has announced that an airport will be developed in Venkatagiri, Nellore district. Babu said that the airport will be on par with the Tirupati airport adding that a port will be built at Dugarajapatnam.
Incidentally, the distance between Tirupati and Venkatagiri will not be less than 100 kms.
So, will there be a possibility for another airport within such short distance? And will it be commercially feasible to run one?
Well, for now, one has to listen to what the leaders have to say!
