Hyderabad: The rivalry and one-upmanship between Andhra and Telangana state political parties, TDP and TRS, has now been extended to social media.
It has become common for both parties to indulge in exchange of words regarding the style of functioning of their leaders and the way the parties are faring in their respective states. And Telangana Chief Minister KCR has been severely criticized for spitting fire against Andhra leaders and Chandra Babu at various forums.
So, looks like TDP has decided to retaliate by taking the ‘war’ to Facebook.
On its Facebook page, the party has posted a few messages which clearly mock the KCR government and his style of heading the TRS party.
It says ‘Hopelessness and Despair, TRS. What else can one expect from a party that propagates divisive politics instead of focusing on administration?’
Another post mocked and took a dig at the TRS government saying that Telangana was buried deep in Dengue and Chikangunya.
But since the TDP is now on the job, it did not stop there. It went a step ahead and called Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao a drunkard and even morphed a picture of his KCR to look like Dictator Hitler.
Naturally, the TRS workers took offence to the posts and reported the matter to the police.
Now, many are waiting to see how TRS will retaliate to the Facebook war.
