Now that the Central Bureau of Investigation has completed the investigation into the alleged illegal assets case of YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, all the accused in the case are being let off by the court one after the other.
After industrialist Nimmagadda Prasad and suspended bureaucrat K V Brahmananda Reddy, it was the turn of Jagan’s close aide and auditor V Vijay Sai Reddy to get the “conditional” bail from the CBI special court on Tuesday.
While granting bail, the CBI court asked Vijaysai Reddy to surrender his passport and not leave Hyderabad without its permission. The court also asked him to furnish two sureties of Rs 2 lakh each.
Jagan, the main accused in the case, was granted bail on September 23.
