No Takers For Reddy Survey Within Cong!

No Takers For Reddy Survey Within Cong!

The recent survey commissioned by Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president Capt N Uttam Kumar Reddy seems to have no takers within the Congress party.

According to this survey which was done by a reputed agency from Mumbai, the Congress party is going to come back to power, if elections are held now.

It would win not less than 50 seats, among total number of 119 seats and has bright chances of winning another 20 seats if it works hard.

However, Nalgonda MLA and senior Congress leader Komatireddy Venkat Reddy has strongly objected to the outcome of the survey.

“It is a bogus survey. It has predicted that the party cannot win the assembly seats in Nakirekal, Bhongir and some other northern parts of Telangana, besides Hyderabad city. This is ridiculous,” he said.

Komatireddy pooh-poohed Uttam for saying that he would lead the Congress party to victory in the next elections.

“One cannot become the leader, leave alone the chief minister, if he sports beards and moustaches. One has to be among the people. We, Komatireddy brothers, would make extensive tour across the state and see that the Congress party wins not less than 80 seats in the 2019 elections and gift the power to Sonia Gandhi who granted separate Telangana,” the former minister said.
