No Need For All-Party Meet On Metro Rail

TRS Parliament Member B Vinod Kumar today slammed the Congress leaders for their allegations on Metro Rail Project.

Talking to press persons here, he condemned the comments of opposition party leader K Jana Reddy who also sought an all party meeting on the Metro Rail land issue.

What is the necessity of the all party on the issue which has no controversy at all, he remarked.

Why Jana Reddy did not ask for the all party meeting during the congress regime, he asked. Jana Reddy kept quiet when the then Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy pressed L&T and obtained a letter in this regard,  he said.

Even L&T and Metro Rail authorities have clarified that the land is with them and works are going on.

The 15 acre land, as is being alleged, was not given to anyone, he said. Then there is no question of debate and all party or calling an Assembly as  was sought by Jana Reddy, Vinod felt.

He however, took serious exception to the political parties for their vague comments on the metro rail project land.

He accused the parties of indulging in mudslinging activity for mileage.

Vinod found fault with the leaders for trying to defame themselves by making charges on the government on the metro project.
